🐦 Osborn Robin Watch
Nest Cam Closed

Thank you, bird watchers.

Our robin nest story has come to a quiet ending, so we are turning off the live camera.

A wild backyard visitor — maybe a crow or a squirrel — found the eggs. That can feel sad, but it is also part of nature. Animals are always trying to find food and care for themselves.

The good news: the parent robins can keep flying, singing, and exploring. Robins often try again with a new nest when the time is right.

The live nest camera is now closed. 💛

We observed

We practiced watching carefully, noticing details, and asking good nature questions.

🌿

We learned

Nature can be beautiful and sometimes hard. Every creature has a role in the backyard.

🎶

We keep listening

If you hear robins singing outside, that is a reminder that the story of nature keeps going.

For curious kids

If you feel disappointed, that is okay. Scientists and birdwatchers feel that too sometimes. The kind thing we can do is give wild birds space, keep learning, and cheer for the next nest.
