YOUR SIGNALS ARE PERSONAL

Privacy & your data.

App privacy information · Updated October 1, 2026

Your signals are personal. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your gauge readings to target advertising or product offers. The optional meter card is the same product invitation for everyone.

What we use

Your email and a protected password record support sign-in and recovery. Our server stores gauge names, selected modes, current values, countdown dates, sharing permissions, and settings so your signed-in devices and invited partner can see the same state. Account, security, and connection records help operate and protect the service. This is not a service that only passes data through without storing it.

Who can see a shared gauge

You and the person who accepts your invitation can see its dial names, current signals, schedules and any opted-in trend history. Each person controls their assigned dial. The creator can hide or delete the shared gauge. Either person can end sharing. Offline phones may retain their last cached view until they reconnect. Only invite someone you trust; we cannot erase a screenshot they have taken.

Export your data

Save a copy of my data exports your account, assigned dial settings, available history, alert settings and purchase records as a JSON file. Your partner’s private dial data and credentials are excluded. Keep the saved file private; it is outside the app’s protected storage.

History and deletion

History is off by default. Each person can enable settled history for their assigned digital dial; physical-gauge history can be enabled in the website settings. Digital history uses saved server positions even while the app is closed. Positions must settle for two minutes; expired signals, privacy time and service interruptions are excluded. Turning history off does not delete previous records. You can delete a digital gauge in Sharing & invitations; that removes its current settings, invitations and associated gauge records from the active database. This does not delete your account, purchase records, or any server backups. Delete my account removes your account, its created digital gauges, sessions and invitations from the active database. It clears your assigned dial on someone else’s shared gauge and unlinks your physical meters. Other accounts, purchase records and existing server backups remain separate. Offline devices can retain cached data until they reconnect.

Notifications and service providers

If you choose Google sign-in, Google verifies your identity. We store your email and Google account identifier to connect your account; we do not receive your Google password, contacts, Gmail or Drive content. If configured, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device registration token to deliver alerts. Our push payload contains an event identifier, not your gauge value or romance label. Hosting, network providers such as Cloudflare, and email delivery services may process operational information. If you buy hardware, Stripe processes checkout, and order and shipping details are used to fulfil the purchase.

Your phone

The app caches the selected gauge and sign-in credentials in its protected app storage. Theme preferences stay on your phone. We do not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera or precise location for these features. Network sharing needs an account and an internet connection; hardware is optional.

Your choices

Alerts are optional. Clear your own romance signal at any time, or leave a shared gauge. Romance signals expire automatically. A green gauge is an opening to conversation, never consent or an obligation. Countdowns are reminders, not measurements of desire.

Security

Production connections use HTTPS. The service is not end-to-end encrypted: the server processes gauge settings to provide syncing, timers and alerts. The development test server can use local HTTP.

This launch page

The demonstration sliders run in your browser. Moving them does not send a mood signal to our app, a partner or a device. Opening the app is a separate step. We have not added advertising or analytics trackers to this launch page; our hosting and network services process requests needed to deliver and protect it.
