GAUGE & GEAR

HOW CUSTOM ORDERS WORK

Made with you.
Made for you.

Our catalog is a starting point, not a shelf of finished stock. Wall art and display pieces are commissioned individually; physical gauges begin with a personalized preorder request.

1. Choose a design and make it personal.

Tell us the size, finish, names, labels, and other details you have in mind. If you are not sure, choose “Help me choose.” Custom options are preferences for discussion, subject to design feasibility.

2. Check out with your request.

Add your pieces to the cart and submit them together. Checkout records your request and shows a reference number. Nothing is charged, no payment card is collected, and you are not placing a binding paid order.

3. Review the plan and the quote.

We follow up personally using your contact details. Before you pay, we agree on the design, dimensions, materials, item price, any deposit, shipping, applicable taxes, timing, and change or cancellation terms. A requested date is a preference, not a promised delivery date.

4. Approve it before it is made.

Production starts only after the design and payment arrangements have been agreed. If the price, timing, or design is not right for you, you can decline the quote. To update or cancel an unpaid request, email dave@gaugegear.us with your reference number.

About gauge preorders.

The physical gauges are in development. A preorder request expresses your interest and saves your personalization details for review. It does not guarantee availability, final specifications, a place in a production queue, or a shipping date. We will confirm those details before accepting payment. The digital app can be used separately.

Shipping, fit, and installation.

Your location, piece size, and packaging affect delivery options and cost. We confirm shipping availability and the final address with the quote. Mounting and electrical requirements, where relevant, are confirmed for the final design. Do not buy hardware or make installation changes based on concept photos.

Photos and custom details.

Product images illustrate design direction and possible room settings. Your final piece will be based on the design you approve; wood grain, colors, proportions, and details can vary. Names and lettering are reviewed for spelling before production.

Questions before you start?

Email Dave or include your question in the design notes. Keep your request number when you check out; the confirmation is shown on screen and can be saved or printed.
