THE DETAILS MAKE THE PIECE
Familiar shape.
Natural character.
The clip-point blade, recessed fuller, curved guard, five grip grooves and shaped pommel are carved as wood features. The renders show a light maple appearance on the blade and a warm walnut appearance on the handle and guard.
Wood species, stain, surface finish and any personal engraving are agreed with your commission. Grain and color will vary from piece to piece.

The blade includes a long wooden tang that passes through the guard and into the handle. The front grip and rear lamination enclose that joint, with glue and concealed hardwood dowels specified for assembly.
The CAD design is complete; physical joinery and mounting trials remain before production. The final construction is confirmed as part of your commission.

The handle retains its rounded front while its back sits flat against the wall. Concealed rear mounting keeps the carved face clear of visible hanging hardware.
